ABOUT ACNE & TREATMENT

Acne is one of the commonest skin problems.  It produces unsightly spots on the face and neck, chest, back and upper arms.  Although traditionally considered a teenage problem (8 out of 10 teenagers suffer from it).  One out every 20 persons in the fourth decade has acne.  Sometimes go on for ages, producing both physical and psychological scars.

The sebaceous gland is the site of the problem as mentioned earlier these glands produce sebum which contains cholesterol, fatty acids and waxes.  Several things can go wrong with this fairly simple process.  For example, if the production of sebum increase or if dead cells clog up the openings of the glands the flow of the sebum gets disturbed. The pores get blocked and blackheads and inflamed pimples develop as the sebum spills into the surrounding tissue it will get infected.  Other factors which affect acne are menstruation, stressful conditions, hot humid estimates and genetic factors.

Method:

1. Apply anti acne soap with brush all over the face and wash it off.
2. Apply mint cleanser and give massage for 2 minutes on the face. Clean it with moist cotton.
3. Dab cloper on the pimples and rub it lightly so that it can be blend all on the skin and clean it with moist cotton after 15 min.
4. After that give the cold compressor on the face and remove the cotton when it comes to normal.
5. Apply pimple pack on full face. Keep it for 15 min. Wet the face and then clean it with moist cotton.
6. Apply sun block cream to prevent UV – A and UV – B rays on the face and neck.

There are no contra indications.  Keep the electrode on the skin and then switch ‘on’ turn ‘off’ the machine and then remove from the skin to avoid current jumping – wipe the machine well before and after every use to avoid electrical shocks.
